When will my order ship?
Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed and filled. This lead time does not include the shipping time! Please note some carriers may experience delays beyond our control during peak seasons and inclement weather.
I forgot to add my discount code, can you apply it?
In most cases, yes! Please use our contact form and include:
Your name + order # + the discount code you were hoping to use.
If your order was placed within the eligible time-frame and includes products eligible for the discount, we can apply the code.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
We ship via USPS and UPS from Seattle, WA. Carrier lead times displayed at checkout do not include processing/fulfillment lead times. Most carriers take 3-6 days to arrive once shipped. If you need an expedited order, please reach out to us using our contact form and we will gladly assist. Orders that qualify for free shipping will ship using the least expensive carrier option.
*Please note that we do not have additional information about packages once they are in transit and we do not have any control over when your package will arrive once it leaves our facility.
My order says it was delivered but I can’t find it!
We use Shopify Shipsurance which automatically insures most packages under $200 and includes coverage for package damage, loss, and theft. (If you would like to purchase insurance for an order over $200, please email us and we would be happy to help.)
Sometimes during peak seasons, we’ve seen orders marked as delivered only to arrive hours or a day later. If your order shows a delivery was made but you haven’t been able to locate it, we suggest you check with neighbors and apartment offices to ensure it wasn’t delivered elsewhere.
If you are further unable to locate the package, please reach out to us with your order number and we will start a missing/non-delivery claim for you through Shipshurance. You will receive a link to fill out the claims form via email. Claims for missing deliveries, stolen packages or damaged packages must be filed within 25 days of the item being shipped. Eligible claims are usually resolved within a week. If/once the claim is approved, we will ship out your replacement package or issue any necessary refunds.
Do you ship internationally?

We do our best to package everything with care, but if something arrives damaged please contact us within 7 days of delivery. To process a damaged item claim, we must receive photos of damaged item/s, the packaging it was shipped in, and your order number so we can quickly work to replace it.
Please refer to burn instructions and care information on/included in product packaging or listed on our product pages. If an item does not function properly, please email us with photos of the issue you are experiencing and as much information as possible and we’ll work to make it right!
Choosing a scent online can be tricky! We recommend purchasing a Discovery Set to help narrow in on the right scent and product options before purchasing a full-size product. Unused candles and incense may be returned within 14 days of purchase. Shipping is non-refundable and return shipping must be covered by the buyer.
*We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on fragrance rollers for sanitary reasons. Purchasing a sample discovery set first is strongly recommended.
Our wax blend
Our wax is an in-house blend of hydrogenated soy + coconut oils. Our wax is vegan and paraffin free, unlike most coconut wax on the market that are pre-blended by manufacturers and fortified with paraffin. We sometimes add a plant-based stearic acid to firm up the texture of the wax.
Natural wax, especially soy, can have an imperfect or bumpy texture after burning. This is normal and will have no effect on the burn quality. Other aesthetic traits of natural wax can include some discoloration, which will not impact the quality of the scent or burn.
We use ethically sourced and high quality ingredients that fall into three main categories:
These oils are super concentrated and steam distilled directly from plant matter. Producing essential oils takes a large amount of materials, and the rise in popularity of natural oils has had devastating impacts on many natural resources. We believe that using a synthetic ingredient can be a more ethical option in some cases.
It’s also important to note that many essential oils are too delicate for use in candles or can become toxic when burned. For this reason we do not exclusively use essential oils, and any essential oils we do incorporate into our fragrances must be ethically sourced/produced and not contribute to overconsumption of our natural resources.
These fragrance molecules are also derived from organic matter but using other methods of extraction such as CO2 or pressure. Jasmine absolute is an example. These fragrances are not essential oils, but because they are also natural ingredients they can be finicky to work with in high temperatures and ethical/sustainable issues may also need to be taken into consideration.
These aroma molecules are created in a lab. These types of oils tend to be more stable, have higher density and can be specifically formatted for the intended product applications like candles, perfume or body products. They tend to provide optimal levels of fragrance output. In some cases, synthetics may simply be a lab-made duplicate of a natural ingredient. Synthetic fragrances are not all good, or all bad. Quality and toxicity can vary greatly, so we are diligent in our research and very picky about what we use. We follow IFRA’s guidelines and only use safe synthetics. This means we only use fragrance components that meet these standards:

We follow proper usage guidelines for all fragrance ingredients. As someone who is incredibly scent sensitive, we aim to use only the best possible ingredients we can find.
We often use the term “Fragrance” oil for our blends. A fragrance oil is considered a blend containing all or some of these components: essential oils, botanicals and synthetics in any combination.

Our perfume rollers are made with our proprietary fragrances blended with safflower and jojoba oils. These oils are both incredibly moisturizing without the greasy feel that coconut oil can sometimes have. We use Vitamin E oil as a natural preservative, but please note that our fragrance rollers have a shelf life of about 12-18 months. We make them to order for this reason.
Our fragrance rollers are portable, last several hours per application and are strong enough to be a signature scent while still subtle enough for sensitive wearers. Some scents available in our perfume collection were too delicate to be used in candles but work incredibly well as wearables (Nova, Tide and Salt). We believe fragrance defies the gender binary, and that YOU are the final ingredient. Our charcoal incense cones are pre-made blanks, but dipped by hand in our studio using our unique fragrance blends. Charcoal cones burn cleaner and can help purify the air in your space. They produce a less intense smoke than wood incense and allow the fragrance to burn truer to its original form, meaning your aroma will allow for more depth and nuance because it won’t burn off the more delicate scent notes.

Product Care + Instructions
Cotton Wick Candle care
To ensure the candle burns properly, trim wick to 1/4" before each new burn. Always allow candle to reach a full melt pool, where wax has melted to all edges and melt pool is 1/4” deep. Do not burn longer than 4 hrs at a time. Never leave wick trimmings or matches in the melt pool. Burn on heat resistant surface, do not leave unattended. Do not pick up or handle candle while burning. Extinguish with care, do not use water. Once the candle has less than 1/4" wax left discontinue use.
Wood Wick Candle care
To ensure candle burns properly, trim wick to 1/8” before each new burn. Pinch off blackened wick tip before lighting. Wood wicks will not stay lit if wick is not trimmed between each use. Always allow candle to reach a full melt pool, where wax has melted to all edges and melt pool is 1/4” deep. Do not burn longer than 4 hrs at a time. Never leave wick trimmings or matches in the melt pool. Burn on heat resistant surface, do not leave unattended. Do not pick up or handle candle while burning. Extinguish with care, do not use water. Once the candle has less than 1/4" wax left discontinue use.
Fragrance roller care
We make our fragrances to order so they are as fresh as possible. We use natural Vitamin E oil to preserve the fragrance blend and slow down oxidation. Store fragrances upright, and away from bright direct light. UV rays will degrade fragrance. Best if used within 12-18 months of purchase. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Your roller can safely fit in a carry-on. Sometimes changes in air pressure may loosen the rollerball housing and cause it to leak. Before traveling, be sure to cover & secure the rollerball and housing with electrical tape and/or plastic wrap and place upright in a leak proof bag.
Incense Cones burn instructions
Place cone on a heat resistant, non-combustible dish. Add salt or sand to the dish and place cone on top. This will protect the dish and increase airflow. Light the tip of the cone and wait 10-15 full seconds before blowing out. Tip of cone should glow red and smoke. If cone does not stay lit, re-light and start again. Cone will smoke for up to 20 minutes and then self extinguish.
Do not handle incense cone once lit. Surface or container may become hot, so be sure to allow the surface to cool before handling. Wait for ash to completely cool before discarding.
How do you calculate burn time?
Burn times are calculated based on how many estimated hours you will get out of your candle’s total lifespan. Our estimated burn times are based on the recommendation of burning your candle for 3-4 hours at a time. If you burn your candles for longer than the suggested time or don’t trim your wick before each burn, you will reduce the total number of burns you can get out of the candle because the candle will consume the wax at a faster rate.
Do you offer candle refills or take back empty jars?
We aim to be as sustainable as possible, which is why we’ve carefully selected containers and lids that are all reusable, and recyclable, giving you long lasting and functional items once the candle has burned through. Read more on how to reclaim and repurpose your containers on our blog.
Our studio is located in a building that is not accessible to the public and we believe that implementing a buyback program that requires shipping vessels would have a larger carbon footprint than we can offset.
Do you offer local pickup?
Our studio is located in a secure multi-use building without public access and for this reason, we are not able to offer local pickup options.
If you’re hoping to grab something in person, we would suggest visiting us at Pike Place Market from March through September, or visiting a local retailer.

I don't see the scent/product I want, can you custom make it?
We are not able to make every product in every scent. Any customizations or collaborations are limited to wholesale/bulk orders only. Please contact us with the scope of your project and we will decide if your project is a good fit.
Can I place a bulk order for gifts/favors?
Absolutely! We can help you build a bulk order for personal gifting, corporate gifting, wedding favors, and more at a discounted price. This is a great option for orders that are not being resold and don’t have a reseller permit. Do you donate products?
We donate a portion of all sales to charitable organizations in our local community here in King County. We are not able to do donation partnerships for galas, raffles or school fundraisers, etc at this time. We are not able to donate to causes/organizations that are out of state, as our goal is to focus on our local community’s needs and prioritize those.
